I like these. Do you read so much and recall so much that you can come up with all these fine sentiments about art day in and day out. Or am I asking how long it takes you to complete a page? My rememberer is rather faulty these days. Anyhow…they are encouraging thoughts.
These particular pages were done over about 4 or 5 days. I’d been reading several different art related books (research for another project) and each time I’d come across a “gem” in one of the books I’d write it off in my sketchbook. Part of my research also included the dog breed shown… thus the doodles along side the quotes. I’m glad you found my pages encouraging! That’s why I do them – since I can’t remember everything either it helps me to collect the “encouraging gems” in a sketchbook that I can refer back to when I want to remember some helpful bit.
